Friends, Family Mourn Loss Of 2 Women Killed In Head-On Burlington County Crash
Family members are raising money for a victim of a head-on crash that killed two drivers earlier this month in Burlington County. Maureen Hanna, 22, of Pleasantville, and Latoya Sotomayor, 36, of Egg Harbor Township, both died in the crash on Nov. 1 on Route 563 in Washington Township, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Maryanne Trump Barry, a Queens native and retired federal judge, died over the weekend from cancer while in hospice care in New York City, the source said. She was 86. The community is rallying to support the family of a 55-year-old man who was struck and killed after his car broke down along the Garden State Parkway. Robert Piel Sr. of Bayonne "had a heart to help those he could," according to a GoFundMe set up to pay funeral costs. Piel was standing in the left lane of the parkway after his Ford stopped in the center lane on Oct. 14 in Sayreville, according to New Jersey State Police.
