Nine vocalists and six instrumentalists from have been selected to perform in the Westchester Area All-State Concert.
The top high school musicians in grades 10 to 12 participate in this annual event.
Chorus:
Kellie Allen, Michael Bloom, Marc Darmohraj, Karina Florio, Sonya McGaffey, Lyndsey Minerva, Katherine Stargiotti, Carter Tanis, and Benjamin Trombetta. Their chorus teacher is Kathleen Donovan-Warren.
Orchestra :
Charlotte Berg (violin), Akimoto Cornelius (violin), Samantha D’Angelo (viola), and Gregory Hunter (double bass). Daniel Schuster (trumpet) and Andrew Skrzypczak (bassoon) are in the band. Their orchestra teacher is Mary Ann Meade. Their band teacher is Thomas Heintzelman.
Additionally, Kellie Allen, Katherine Stargiotti, and Benjamin Trombetta will perform in the chorus at the New York State School Music Association’s All-State Festival in Rochester, Dec. 1 to 4. Marc Darmohraj was named as an alternate to the chorus.
Selection to All-State is the highest achievement that a high school musician can attain in New York.
