Police in Yorktown received a report shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Thursday night, from a Mohegan Lake resident, who reported a domestic dispute at a local home.

Officers were dispatched to the residence, and the investigation into the incident found that Mohegan Lake resident Cesarina Zapata, 22, allegedly violated a Westchester Family Court Temporary Order of Protection by scratching her victim’s face, which caused a minor injury to a man’s face “causing him annoyance and alarm.”

Zapata was subsequently arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal contempt. Police said she is currently being held, pending arraignment. She is due in court to answer the charge at a later date.
