Window Broken at Pleasantville Laundromat

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. — Pleasantville Police are looking for two men suspected of breaking the front window of Linda's Laundry on Thursday night. A witness reportedly told police that two men were walking south on Marble Avenue shortly before midnight when one banged on the window, causing it to break, police said.

The men reportedly ran and a search of the area found nothing. The men are wanted for misdemeanor criminal mischief.

The following items were also reported by Pleasantville police:

• A 45-year-old Pleasantville man reported that his son's iPod was stolen from the Pleasantville Middle School field on June 8. His son reportedly left the iPod in his sneakers to go play on the field between 5 and 6 p.m., and it was gone when he returned. The man returned to police later in the night to report that iPod had been found on the field by school officials.

• A resident reported to police at 8 p.m., Sunday about a suspicious person on Lake Street.

• An employee of the Black Cow on Wheeler Avenue reportedly told police Sunday that her wallet and a friend's iPod were stolen from the coffee shop Saturday evening. According to the report, her friend used the "Find My iPhone" application and sent an alert to the iPod indicating that it had been stolen and asked that it be returned to the Black Cow. Shortly after, a man returned with the iPod and said it had been taken by one of his friends. No charges were filed. The employee also returned to police later to report that she had found her wallet.
