PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Muriel L. Mortell of Pleasantville died March 23. She was 95.
Mortell was born Nov. 27, 1917, to Jacob and Lenora (Riley) Pfister in Valhalla, N.Y. She was a retired seamstress for B. Altman in White Plains, N.Y.
Mortell is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Robert) Thate of Hawthorne, N.Y.; daughter-in-law Carol Mortell of Bedford, N.Y.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; and son, Robert.
Calling hours are Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Pleasantville, N.Y. Funeral Service at 10:30 at Valhalla United Methodist Church, Valhalla, N.Y. Interment in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
