Saw Mill River Parkway In Rivertowns Closed Due To Flooding

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON. N.Y - Portions of the Saw Mill River Parkway remained closed Friday due to flooding from heavy rains.

The Saw Mill River overflowed flooding portions of the parkway in Hastings, Yonkers, Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley and Pleasantville.

Traffic was detoured to Route 9A in Hastings, Dobbs Ferry and Ardsley due to flooding.

In Dobbs Ferry and Hastings, all four lanes in both north and south directions were closed to traffic at mile marker 6.8 north and south between Exit 16 Lawrence St. and Farragut Ave. in Hastings.

In Pleasantville and Mount Pleasant, southbound lanes from Manville Road to Marble Avenue were closed.

Motorists were being detoured along Route 9A and to other local streets in Hastings, Dobbs Ferry and the northern section of Yonkers, as well as Mount Pleasant and Pleasantville, along the parkway.
