PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. Gas prices around the nation are on the rise, and Pleasantville drivers are feeling it at the pumps. Here is where you can find the least expensive gas throughout the area:
As of Tuesday, the 76 station at 1 Broadway was offering the lowest price for regular gas at $3.85 per gallon. Sunoco at 159 Bedford Road was next with $3.95 per gallon, followed by Citgo at 510 Bedford Road with $3.99 per gallon.
According to Automotive.com, cheaper prices can be had for residents willing to travel a little farther into Mount Pleasant. Citgo at 592 Commerce St. and Getty at 476 Commerce St. were both offering $3.79 per gallon.
The most recent Lundberg Survey on Friday listed the national average price of self-serve, regular gas at $3.51, up from $3.41 on July 13.
