Board of Trustees: 7 p.m. Pleasantville's Village Board will convene at 7 p.m. for a work session before beginning its regular meeting at 8 p.m. Village Hall, second floor.

Fall Sports Meeting: 6 p.m. Pleasantville Union Free School District is holding a fall sports meeting for parents and coaches of middle and high school students. Pleasantville High School, gymnasium and various classrooms.

Pleasantville High School Awards: 7:30 p.m. Year-end awards will be given to students in ninth, 10th and 11th grade. Pleasantville High School, auditorium.

Tuesday, June 12

Board of Education Meeting: 7:30 p.m. Pleasantville High School, library media center.

Wednesday, June 13

Planning Commission: 8 p.m. Village Hall, second floor.

Knitting Class: 3:15 p.m. The class, for students in grades five to eight, is for beginning knitters who want to learn knitting basics. Space is limited so registration is required. Mount Pleasant Library. (914) 769-0548

Thursday, June 14

Jazz Violinist: 7:30 p.m. Violinist Aaron Weinstein will perform with his trio following a screening of the film "Jazz Sessions: The Greats on Camera 2012." The 26-year-old Weinstein has been a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall and has played and recorded with musicians Les Paul and Annie Ross. Tickets are $12 for members and $17 for non-members.
