WESTCHESTER, N.Y. -- There's nothing like fresh seafood in summertime, especially if you can enjoy it on the waterfront. Here are four great places to enjoy the catch of the day.

Ocean House Oyster Bar in Croton-On-Hudson

Despite inhabiting a smallish structure from the 1920s, Ocean House Oyster Bar is anything but quaint. This award-winning Westchester staple has been providing modern spins on seafood classics for ten years.

Some of their signature dishes include Truffle Lobster Mac and Cheese ($15); Roasted Rainbow Trout with apple, walnut and bacon stuffing ($24.50); and Sautéed Skate Wing with Chipotle Lime vinaigrette ($28.50).

They also make a pretty mean Lobster Roll served with french fries and coleslaw ($24.50).

Xaviar's X20 in Yonkers

X20 needs little introduction. The award winning and oft lauded gem in Chef Peter X. Kelly's crown is known for its high quality cuisine, chic atmosphere and spectacular waterfront views.

While seafood is a minority on the menu, its presence is still noteworthy. The Wild King Salmon is served with a Ssamjang (a spicy Korean dipping sauce) glaze, lo mein, shitake dashi, baby bok choy and snow peas ($30).

The Pan Roasted Montauk Skate is served with Robuchon potatoes, sugar snap peas, guanciale and balsamic brown butter ($30).

Sushi Mike’s Japanese Restaurant in Dobbs Ferry

It would be remiss to talk seafood without mentioning sushi. Sushi Mike's is a multiple Best of Westchester winner, known for delicious and creative sushis that will make even the biggest sushi skeptic curious.

Noteworthy amongst a long list of speciality rolls is the Black Dragon Roll, which is crab salad, chopped yellow tail and flying fish roe topped with avocado and black sesame seeds ($13.95).

The Saturday Night Roll is cream cheese, crab salad and chopped yellowtail topped with spicy salmon, tuna and fried garlic chips ($14.95).

Underhills Crossing in Bronxville

Underhill Crossing's raw bar is the stuff of legends in Southern Westchester. Make your own combination of Fanny Bay Oysters, Pine Island Oysters, Shrimp, Maine Lobster, Kumamoto Oysters and Littleneck Clams -- or order one of their platters named after Christopher Columbus' three ships: the Nina ($47), Pinta ($63) and Santa Maria ($105).

Another fan favorite, according to owner Steve Palm, is the Octopus, served with Great Northern white bean hash ($11).
