“Our intent is to convey a sense of community connectedness; that we are all interwoven and even stewards of our town," said Chamber Board member and event organizer Dawn Greenberg. "Chappaqua/New Castle has been a special place for over 100 years and we want to honor and build on that."
Attendees will be given a self-guided tour map, which includes the opportunity to personally meet with key town and school officials, first responders, shopkeepers and more.
Activities include a town-wide scavenger hunt, an airbrush event, a performance by Chappaqua Orchestra Duo and more. Police Chief Charles Ferry will also give tours of the police department, including the vehicles, equipment, holding cell and booking area.
Additional tours include the Town Hall and Library.
The event will run from noon to 4 p.m.
