Visibilities will be one-quarter mile or less at times as areas of dense fog will expand Saturday evening and remain into the overnight.

Sudden reductions in visibilities will make travel difficult.

Motorists are advised to use fog lamps or low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed.

Heat and humidity will peak on Sunday with the high temp climbing to near 85 degrees. It will be a mostly cloudy day with patchy fog before 9 a.m. and a chance of showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely Monday, mainly after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain, flash flooding, damaging winds and an isolated tornado on another mostly cloudy day with a high temp in the low-80s.

More showers and storms are likely Monday night into Tuesday before clouds give way to mostly sunny skies with a high again in the low-80s.
