North Castle Road Reopens After Fallen Tree Causes Closure

This story has been updated. NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. -- A stretch of Banksville Road in North Castle reopened early Tuesday after a tree fell on the primary electric wires in the area of 13 Banksville Road, causing its closure starting at around 2:35 p.m.

The closure was between Route 22 (Bedford Road) and the Sniffen Road/Long Pond Road intersection.
