Motorists planning on the Sprain Brook Parkway between Route 100C and I-287 in Greenburgh will see the roadway reduced from three lanes in each direction to two lanes.
The lane reduction began Monday, Aug. 21 and is expected to last through Monday, Nov. 20, when traffic will be returned to its typical pattern. Intermittent lane closures are expected on the parkway in advance of the full lane closure.
Significant delays are expected. Motorists have been advised to seek alternate route and to avoid travel int he area during peak hours if possible. There will be signage and flaggers in the area to help direct traffic.
