Godino is only the third Wagner player to earn All-America honors as a freshman. Teammate Paul Mammino was the last in 2013.

He joins senior catcher Nick Dini as the only other Seahawks to be so honored this season. The pair were two of five Wagner players named to the All-Northeast Conference first team.

Godino's .362 batting average was second-best in the NEC, highlighted by a 4-for-4, six-RBI performance April 25 against Central Connecticut State.
