The summer-swim season opens with a splash Tuesday as the Westchester County Swim Conference and Northern Westchester Swim Conference debut. The regular season runs through the end of July. The Westchester County Swimming and Diving Championships will follow.
The diving competition will be held July 25-26 at Lake Isle Country Club. The swimming events return to the Playland pool in Rye, Aug. 1-4. There is one meet in the Westchester County Swim Conference as the American Yacht Club will host Shenorock Shore Club, 5 p.m.
Eight meets are listed on the Northern Westchester Swim Conference schedule -- Mount Kisco Memorial Pool at Birchwood, Chappaqua hosting Yorktown, Cortlandt at Pleasantville, Lewisboro going to Lakeside, Tarrycrest at Mount Pleasant, Bedford Hills at Pocantico Hills, Bedford Golf & Tennis hosting Ossining and Windmill is at Seven Bridges.
