Pleasantville Prevails Over Bronxville In Double OT Lacrosse Thriller

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - The Pleasantville and Bronxville High School boys lacrosse teams added a new chapter to their rivalry Thursday when the two met up again in the Section 1 Class C championship game at White Plains High School.

in what was a closely contested game the entire way, Pleasantville's Jack Drillock scored on a point-blank shot with 2:31 left in the second overtime session to give the Panthers a thrilling 4-3 victory.

Pleasantville sophomore keeper Jack Fitzgerald (19 saves) was named the game's Defensive MVP. Bronxville's Alston Tarry (two goals) was named Offensive MVP.

it was the second straight title for Pleasantville, which will play in a regional game next Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Yorktown High School.
