Pleasantville Panthers Baseball Team Competes In Cooperstown

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The 12U Pleasantville Panthers baseball team traveled to Cooperstown, N.Y., during the week of Aug. 17-21 participate for the first time in a weeklong baseball tournament, playing seven games in four days.

The Panthers lost an exciting 3-2 playoff game in the last inning, despite a complete game effort from Michael La Capria.

The team also had the opportunity to compete against a team from China during the tournament, and visited Double Day Field and the Baseball Hall of Fame.
