PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Members of Pleasantville High School’s varsity football team ended their Section One award-winning season with their annual community service project.

Armed with rakes and leaf blowers, team members, coaches and parents cleared leaves from the yards of several of Pleasantville’s senior citizens.

Last year the team assisted in the post-Hurricane Sandy cleanup efforts in Breezy Point. In addition to doing a good deed, the team was rewarded with the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Section One Community Service Award.
