Pleasantville Green 11U Baseball Completes Season

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pleasantville Green 11u baseball team, comprised mostly of 10-year-olds, just completed its season with an 8-8 record in the Westchester Baseball Association 11u division.

The Greens traveled to Rye Brook for the first round of the playoffs and defeated Rye Brook 5-3 with Thomas Browne throwing a complete game on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

The next night, the team traveled to Cortlandt and defeated the Cortlandt American team 2-1 with another complete gamed gem from Michael LaCapria.

On Friday, Aug. 8, the Greens hosted the championship game at soldiers and sailors and fell short 7-4 to the TM Select Black team.

Christopher Satriale was the head coach for the season and he was assisted by Jay LaCapria and Richard d’Erizans.
