Pace Swim Teams Complete Fall Seasons

The Pace men’s and women’s swim teams topped off their fall seasons Sunday, taking fifth place and fourth place respectively at the Bentley University Invitational in Waltham, Mass.

Kevin Dickson (Coldingham, Scotland) posted three top-three finishes as the men earned 129 points.  Southern Connecticut State won the meet with 641 points.

On the women’s side, Kaitlyn Lynch (Vallejo, Ca.) took home a pair of second place finishes as women finished with 211 points. Bentley won the meet with 552 points.

Dickson won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 53.88, while taking second place in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.12. He also had a third place finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.44. Adam James (Plainville, Conn.) finished in fifth place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.16, while taking ninth place in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:12.20.

Lynch finished second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.25, while also taking second place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.37. Georgie Goulding (Wellington, New Zealand) won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:13.05, while taking fourth place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.55 and eighth place in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.11.

Alexis Chocianowski (Cambria Heights, N.Y.) took fifth place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.29, and 10th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.17.

The Setters swimmers will return to action early next year when they travel to Adelphi University for a dual meet on Jan. 12.
