Pace Releases 2012 Baseball Schedule

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace University baseball team released its 2012 schedule on Thursday afternoon.

The Setters open play with two games against Bloomfield College on Feb. 25 and 26 and then face Mercy College on March 2 and 3.

Pace travels to Florida for several games the week of March 11-17. They will face host Rollins College on March 14 and will also play against Bentley, Stonehill and CW Post while in Florida.

The Setters return to the area with a game at the Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn. on March 20 against the University of Bridgeport. Pace then faces Nyack College in Pomona on March 22.

Pace starts Northeast-10 conference play with a pair of home doubleheaders on consecutive days. The Setters host Stonehill College on March 24 and Bentley University on March 25.

The home stand continues with a pair of non-conference games against Dominican College on March 29 and Queens College on March 30.

The final two games of the home stand include a conference matchup with Adelphi University on April 3 and a non-conference game against Molloy College on April 10.

Pace will then play eight straight road games and returns home on April 17 to face Adelphi University. The Setters host Bloomfield on April 18.

On April 21 and 22, Pace will host Assumption College for three games. The doubleheader on April 21 will involve the “Pace Goes Pink” event to raise money for the Dickstein Cancer Treatment Center at White Plains Hospital.

Pace then plays New Haven on April 25. The season ends with a three-game home series against Southern Connecticut on May 5 and 6, with a doubleheader on the first day.
