Pace Hires New Dance Team Coach

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Director of Athletics Mark Brown has hired Ana De Villegas as the new Dance Team coach for Pace University.

De Villegas worked as a ballet teacher and nutrition coach at the Ballet Academy of Northern Virginia for three years. She also worked as the dance team coach for J.E.B Stuart High School, where she choreographed pep rallies, football and basketball games. She also worked with the athletics department during music and timeouts.

De Villegas was a cheerleader for the Washington Redskins during the 2009 season and also cheered for the New Jersey Devils.

She graduated from Radford University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and journalism and a minor in dance performance and education. De Villegas is also a certified pilates instructor and personal trainer. She also is a certified member of the National Association for Paralegals.

De Villegas will start her new job at Pace immediately.
