Pace Has 148 Athletes On Conference Honor Roll

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Northeast-10 Conference announced its Spring 2012 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and 148 Pace University student-athletes made the list.

Pace placed 10th out of the 16 member schools in the conference as 51 percent of its student-athletes achieved a 3.0 grade point average or more. Ten Setters earned a 4.0 GPA, which ranked Pace sixth among NE-10 schools in that category.

Four graduating seniors achieved 4.0 GPAs, including women’s soccer players Julia Bonsignore and Taylor Walden, softball player Lauren Bell and volleyball player Ursula Vero. Junior volleyball player Nora Rugova, a Mount Kisco native who went to Fox Lane High School, also earned a 4.0 GPA.

Two baseball players, sophomore Alex Rough from Stamford, Conn. and freshman Thomas Midolo from Xaverian High School in Brooklyn, also earned perfect GPAs in the spring semester.

Sixty-one Pace student-athletes earned GPAs between 3.5 and 3.99 and 76 Setters finished with GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.

Overall, 2,899 student-athletes in the NE-10 made the honor roll and 137 of them earned perfect 4.0 GPAs.

A student-athlete must have earned at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale during the Spring 2012 semester to qualify for selection to the honor roll.
