Pace Football Kicks Off Season Friday On The Road

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace University football team kicks off its season Friday night with a road game against Northeast-10 Conference opponent Bentley University at 7 p.m.

Junior quarterback Jordan Raynor will try to lead the Setters to their first season opening win since 2008. Raynor was 119-for-229 throwing the ball last year and finished with 1,195 passing yards.

Senior safety David Lopez, who recently earned two preseason All-American honors, will lead the Setters’ defense.

The Falcons have a 10-3 advantage against the Setters in the all-time series. The teams last met in October 2011 around the time of the snowfall. Bentley won that game, 28-0.
