PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. The Northeast-10 Conference concluded its regular season on Tuesday and announced playoff seedings and matchups.
Paces womens basketball team finished third in the conference standings, while the men finished seventh.
The third-seeded women will host No.6 seed Assumption College on Sunday at 1 p.m. The men will host No. 10 seed University of New Haven on Friday at 7 p.m. Both games will be streaming here with live video stats.
The women finished with a 19-7 overall record and a 16-6 record in conference. Assumption defeated the Setters at Pace, 70-56, in December, but Pace earned a 70-55 road win over the Greyhounds last week. The winner of Sundays game advances to the NE-10 semifinals on March 1.
Pace is also ranked fourth in the NCAA East Region poll. The top eight teams in that poll advance to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
The men finished the season at .500 both overall (13-13) and in conference (11-11). Pace won both games against New Haven this season. The Setters beat New Haven at home in November, 55-45, and won 54-51 at New Haven in the beginning of February.
The winner of Fridays matchup advances to the NE-10 quarterfinals on Sunday for a 3:30 game at No. 2 seed Franklin Pierce.
