Five Pace Swimmers Earn Conference Honors

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Several Pace University swimmers and divers earned conference honors this week.

Pace University diver Jenny Palladino earned Northeast-10 Conference Diver and Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season.

The Northeast-10 Conference named the relay team of Dogus Akay, Derek Slayton, Kevin Dickson and Michael Fridman as its Relay Team of the Week for wins in the medley relays at the Pace Invitational last weekend. The quartet set a school record in the 200-yard medley with a time of 1:40.32.

The NE-10 also named Pleasantville native and Byram Hills High School graduate Jenny Palladino as its Women’s Diver and Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season. Palladino swept the one-meter and three-meter diving events at the Pace Invitational.

Palladino was also one of two Pace Athletics Athletes of the Month for November.
