PTA Helps Prepare Autistic Students For College

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.-- The Pleasantville Special Education PTA will host a seminar on preparing autistic students for college at Pace University's Pleasantville Campus on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Speakers at the event will include Dr. Fred R. Volkmar, Roger Jou, M.D., and Mary Riggs-Cohen Ph.D. of the Pace OASIS Program, Carolyn McGuffog Ph.D. of Pleasantville High School and a host of others. 

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The event will be held at Pleasantville Campus-Kessel Student Center, located at 861 Bedford Road.
