Pleasantville's Michael Elliott Presents Research At SUNY Oneonta Event

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Michael Elliott, a Pleasantville resident, recently presented original research and creative projects at SUNY Oneonta's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day.

Elliott worked with James Zians of the department of psychology on a project titled, "Establishing Reliability and Validity on New State Pivot Measures: Anger, Sadness, Anxiety, Dependency, 'Need for Power,' Dominance/Submissiveness, Excitement, Openness and Blaming." Elliott was the primary presenter for the project.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research and Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for academic student exhibition.

A total of 191 students, supported by 73 faculty sponsors, participated in this year's event, which featured presentations on a wide variety of topics across academic disciplines.
