The hour-long course will be led by the Westlake Tech Crew, a group of technology-focused High School and middle school students. They will provide one-one-one lessons on how to use applications such as Skype and Face Time as well as how to attach photos to emails and other practices.

The Tech Crew led its first workshop in November, when about 20 Mount Pleasant seniors participated.

"These students are amazing," said Mary Knopp, library and media specialist. "They are a wealth of knowledge."

Kellie Rizzi, the director of senior citizen programs, said the workshops were well received by those who attended and future classes have already been planned.

The Westlake High School/Middle School is at 825 Westlake Drive in Thornwood.
