Proceeds from the benefit concert support Shred Kids' Cancer, a non-profit dedicated to offering a solution for kids to help fight kids' cancer. Monies raised will also support Phoebe’s Phriends, an organization started by Westport resident Phoebe Spear, a two-time cancer survivor who is now at junior at Staples High School.

The event showcases nine talented bands along with performances by Scopoletti and Dough Wimbish, from "Living Colour."

Celebrity Judges Jeff Southworth from Hall & Oates, Master of Ceremonies Chasen Hampton, from Disney's "The Party," will also be on hand as will Wimbish and Scopoletti, who also serve as judges.

In addition, there will be a host of silent auction items and a VIP section for pediatric cancer patients and their parents.

Shred Kids’ Cancer was founded in 2009 by then 8-year-old Teagan Stedman. The organization is run entirely by young people (with adult guidance) and is dedicated to serving the community by offering kids the opportunity to use their creativity and organizational skills to help their peers who are battling cancer.

Tickets are $20 if purchased online in advance from the Shred Kids’ Cancer website or $25 at the door. All ages are welcome. The event is from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Warehouse at Fairfield Theater Company, 70 Sanford St. Fairfield, (203) 259-1036.
