Old Tappan boy flown to hospital after falling down stairs in walker

UPDATE: An Old Tappan infant was airlifted to Hackensack University Hospital for evaluation of possible head trauma after he fell down a set of stairs in his walker earlier today.

The boy, who’s just under a year old, was “stable, conscious and alert” while being flown by AirMed One to HUMC from a landing zone at the Charles deWolf School following the incident just after 2:30 p.m., Police Chief Thomas Shine told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
