Senate, Congress Primaries Come To Pleasantville

NEW CASTLE, N.Y. – Registered Republicans in Pleasantville will be taking to the polls Tuesday to decide which candidates will appear on the November ballot in both U.S. Senate and Congressional races.

The Republican Senate primary features a race between Wendy Long, George Maragos and Bob Turner. The winner will run against Democratic incumbent Kirsten Gillibrand.

The U.S. Congress District 17 primary pits Republicans Joseph Carvin against James Russell, who are looking to run against Democratic incumbent Nita Lowey.

The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Voters can find their exact polling place on the Westchester County Board of Elections website by entering their address into the polling place locator .
