PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - A car was reported stolen Sunday from a Washington Avenue parking lot near Cold Stone Creamery, but police quickly learned that the supposed thief simply drove the wrong car home.
Using a remote starter, the person reportedly started an identical car and accidentally drove it home. Police said the person then returned the car to the parking lot after learning of the mistake. There were no charges.
