Pleasantville Police: Suspicious Man At Gas Station

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Pleasantville police say workers at the Citgo gas station on Bedford Road in Pleasantville reported a disoriented and suspicious man on the station's property Monday afternoon.

At around 1:15 p.m., police say they received the call in regards to the unwanted patron at the location. Police say upon their arrival, the man was gone and no criminal activity was reported.

In other police news:

  • At around 4:50 p.m. Saturday, police say a resident living on Club Court reported there possibly was a sick raccoon on their porch. Police say responding officers and animal control were unable to locate the raccoon.
  • At around 11 a.m. Friday, police say a resident living on Sky Top Drive reported a suspicious man was walking along their street. Upon arrival, police say it was determined the man was a Jehovah's Witness who was soliciting to houses on the street. No charges were filed.
