PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pleasantville Police Benevolent Association and the Village of Pleasantville reached a new contract effective retroactively from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2015, according to Patch .
Retroactive wage increases for the previous four years of the contract include 2.5 percent for 2011-12, and 2.5 percent for 2012-13, the report said. Wages will then rise 2 percent for 2013-14, and another 2 percent for 2014-15.
The contract has a provision that would allow unused sick time and retirement to be cashed in to contribute to health care payments, Village Administrator Patricia Dwyer reportedly told the board of trustees.
