Pleasantville PBA, Village Agree On New Contract

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pleasantville Police Benevolent Association and the Village of Pleasantville reached a new contract effective retroactively from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2015, according to Patch.

Retroactive wage increases for the previous four years of the contract include 2.5 percent for 2011-12, and 2.5 percent for 2012-13, the report said.  Wages will then rise 2 percent for 2013-14, and another 2 percent for 2014-15.

The contract has a provision that would allow unused sick time and retirement to be cashed in to contribute to health care payments, Village Administrator Patricia Dwyer reportedly told the board of trustees.
