South Salem Woman Caught Putting Items In Purse At Carmel Supermarket

A South Salem woman was nabbed for shoplifting $68.46 worth of items from the Tops Supermarket recently, according to Carmel Police.

Michele Ciacci, 32, was arrested and charged with petit larceny for putting razors, shampoo, condition, and face wipes in her purse and attempting to leave the store without paying, police said.

She was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court.
