MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Former Mount Pleasant Police Chief Brian Fanelli pleaded not guilty on Monday to child pornography charges in White Plains, according to a report from News 12.

Fanelli, a Mahopac resident, resigned in March after the arrest in January. Fanelli has been accused of "downloading more than 120 files, videos and images of child pornography. He is also accused of sharing the files from a computer in Westchester County," according to the report from News 12.

A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for noon Tuesday at the U.S. Courthouse in White Plains.
