Between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, state police conducted a speed enforcement detail in Yonkers, which resulted in the issuance of 50 total tickets.
According to state police, troopers made 33 stops for motorists speeding, with 12 others pulled over for various other vehicle and traffic violations. One was stopped for not wearing his seatbelt, and there were two tickets each issued to drivers for failing to move over for law enforcement officials on the side of the road and texting.
