PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Teresa Kennedy Keenan, of Pleasantville, died Sunday, April 10. She was 83.
Born in Limerick, Ireland, March 31, 1933, she was the daughter of James and Ellen (Whalen) Kennedy. She married Michael John Keenan at St. Augustine's Church in Ossining in 1962. She lived in Pleasantville since 1972 and was a daily communicant of Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Keenan, of Pleasantville; her son, John Keenan, of New York City; siblings, Michael Kennedy, David Kennedy and Mary Keville, all of Limerick, Ireland.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael John Keenan.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Inc., 418 Bedford Road, Pleasantville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Pleasantville.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Ave., Hawthorne.
