PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Ralph Cardi, a resident of Pleasantville, died Nov. 29. He was 80.
Cardi was born April 9, 1934, in the Bronx, to Louis and Ida Cardi. After graduating from Samuel Gompers High School, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in Korea.
He worked as a surveyor for Mt. Vernon Contracting and Yonkers Contracting until starting his landscaping business in 1981.
Cardi is survived by his sons, Paul and John Cardi; and siblings, Louis Cardi and Virginia Rago. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Pleasantville, NY 914 769 0001. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4 at Holy Innocents located at 431 Bedford Road, Pleasantville. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Pleasantville.
