Margaret Todd, 100, of Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Margaret Thurlow Todd, of Pleasantville, died Monday, Dec. 28, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Ossining. 

She was 100.

Todd was born Dec. 2, 1915, in West Newbury, Mass., to George and Anne (Goodrich) Thurlow. 

She graduated from Pembroke (Brown) and worked for approximately 10 years as a secretary/copy editor at the New Yorker Magazine.

Todd lived in Sleepy Hollow for many years before moving to Pleasantville. 

She is survived by two sons, John (Betsy) Anderson and Philip (Paige) Todd; her daughter, Julie Anne Todd; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

Todd was predeceased by her husbands, Malcolm Anderson and Edwin Todd, and a son Richard Todd.

A memorial service will be held in the spring, time and place to be announced.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SPCA of Westchester County or a charity of your choice.
