Mafalda Z. Fasciani, 82, Worked At Pace University In Pleasantville

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Mafalda Z. Fasciani of Croton-on-Hudson, formerly of Ossining,  died Saturday, Feb. 15. She was 82.

Fasciani was born June 12, 1931, in Ossining, to Gioacchino and Donatella (DiBacco) Zedda. She was a graduate of Ossining High School in 1949. She worked as a bank professional for many years at the Bank for Savings in Ossining and at the Bursar's Office at PACE University in Pleasantville. She was active at the Ossining Historical Society where she volunteered for many years. She was a parishioner of Holy Name of Mary Church and St. Augustine's Church in Ossining.

Fasciani is survived by her children, Rudolph J. Fasciani, Jr. of Croton, Carol Ann Fasciani of Brookfield, Conn., and Cynthia Neff (Arthur) of Buchanan; four grandchildren; sister-in-law, Victoria Zedda; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Rudolph J. Fasciani, Sr.; brothers, Joseph (Susan), Michael and Frank Zedda; and sister, Rose Trembone.

Calling hours are Monday, Feb. 17 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Holy Name Of Mary Church, 110 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 18 also at the Holy Name of Mary Church. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow.
