PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. Joseph Martin Marinello of Pleasantville died Aug. 23. He was 19.
Marinello was born March 30, 1993, to Marjut and Joseph Marinello III. He graduated from Pleasantville High School in 2011 and was an Eagle Scout.
He is survived by his parents; a brother, Jonathan Marinello; his grandparents, Joseph Marinello Jr. and Anna Maria Marinello, of Tuckahoe; an uncle, an aunt and two cousins.
An avid camper and snowboarder, he was known for his humor, compassion and understanding, Marinello's family said.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at Holy Innocents Church. Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville handled arrangements.
