THORNWOOD, N.Y. -- Jeanette Russo 96, of Thornwood, died on Jan. 5.
She was born on Jan. 19, 1918, to Antonio and Maria DiPrinzio in Castlebordino, Italy.
She is survived by her son Charles Russo (Diane) of Thornwood; sisters Sylvia Lock of Ellsworth, Maine and Virginia Colucci of Ormond Beach, Fla. and brother Fred DiPrinzio of Valhalla, N.Y. She is also survived by her three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Charles Russo Sr., died in 1990. She was also predeceased by her brother Bernard DiPrinzio and sister Rose Russo.
Visitation will be at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 West Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, on Thursday, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne. Entombment at Our Lady Queen of Peace Mausoleum in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
