PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Frances Lynn (Butryn) McCormick of Pleasantville died unexpectedly on Thursday at the age of 54.
Frances was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, a talented chef and owner of the catering firm Fran & Co in Stamford. She was a generous host whose house was always full of friends.
She is survived by her husband Timothy and children Alexandra, Olivia, Lilia and her dog Mr. Bingley.
She leaves her brothers, Kirk (Gabrielle) Butryn and Jeff (Sharon) Butryn, sisters-in-law, Jean Butryn and Brenda Parent, and many dear nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her loving parents, Henry and Judith Butryn and her brothers Mark, Jay, and Donald Butryn.
A private memorial service will be held by the family.
