Dorothy Martin Reiter, 88, Worked For Pleasantville Cottage School

BEDFORD, N.Y. - Dorothy Martin Reiter of Bedford died Oct. 6. She was 88.

Reiter was born Sept. 11, 1926, in Bridgeport, to Anna Pekar and Stephen Martin. She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church. She worked for Nestle, GE, Suburban Tree, Holbrook, Brown, and Waeger, and Pleasantville Cottage School.

Reiter is survived by her husband, Fred of Bedford; children, Karen Eadie (Wayne) of Goldens Bridge, Paul Reiter (Mary) of Natick, Mass., Diane Reiter of South Salem and Greg Reiter (Sylvie) of Oakton, Va.; five grandchildren; brothers, Frederick Martin of Orange, Conn., and Robert Martin of Gilbert, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Edward, Stephen, Emil; and sisters, Irene Ryan and Mary Rusnak.

Calling hours are Saturday, Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah. A service will be held at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Bedford Union Cemetery, Cantitoe St., Bedford.
