Angelina Margolo, 91, Pleasantville Native

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Angelina Margolo, a longtime Scarsdale resident, formerly of Pleasantville, died Friday, Jan. 22. She was 91.

Born in Pleasantville, Margolo worked at Reader's Digest, General Motors, General Foods and for over 45 years was co-owner and vice president of Scarsdale Veterans Taxi.

She lived in Scarsdale for 52 years, where she and her husband were key local business people.

Margolo is survived by her daughters, Marilynn Kadan and Karen Margolo; her grandchildren, Anthony and David Hinds; and her sisters, Rose Sebold and Marion Ruddy.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Margolo; her parents, Placido and Katherine Cundari; and her brother, Charles Cundari.

Visiting hours will be from 5-9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville. Interment will be at MountCalvary Cemetery in Greenburgh.
