Friday, May 4

Toddler Story Time: 10 a.m. Mount Pleasant Public Library. Toddler story time at the Mount Pleasant Public Library is a time for parents to bring their young children for a free, interactive story time.  The session encourages children to better understand and learn from reading. 

Saturday, May 5

Movies for Kids (And Their Families): 12 p.m. The Jacob Burns Film Center will be screening the 1973 film "Charlotte's Web." Other weekend film showings can be found on the center's website.

Japanese Art Exhibit Reception: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mount Pleasant Library. A Japanese Calligraphy and Ikebana Art Exhibit will feature works by students of Yoshiko Katsumi's Calligraphy Classes in Armonk and Ikebana arrangements by artists of the Sogetsu school of Ikebana. The reception will be held in the community room.

Boys Varsity Lacrosse: 3 p.m. Pleasantville High School. The boys varsity lacrosse team will host Hendrick Hudson High School.

Sunday, May 6

Author Michael Falotico: 2 p.m. Mount Pleasant Library. Author Michael Falotico will read from his book "A Walk Through Time."
