Monday, May 14

Community Blood Drive: All day. Pleasantville High School ECHO sponsors a day-long Community Blood Drive. Pleasantville High School, gym.

Pleasantville Women's Club: 10 a.m. Group members will meet. Mount Pleasant Library, community room.

Toddler Story Time: 10:15 a.m. Toddler story-time is a time for parents to bring their young children for a free, interactive story time. The session encourages children to better understand and learn from reading. Mount Pleasant Library.

Tuesday, May 15

Pleasantville School Budget and Board of Education Vote: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Village residents will vote to pass a $45 million budget as well as choosing between three candidates to fill two openings on the board of education. Pleasantville Middle School, multipurpose room.

Bedford Road School Art Fair: 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Bedford Road School, art room.

Village Court: 6 p.m. Pleasantville Village Court is in session every Tuesday. Village Hall, second floor.

Wednesday, May 16

Bedford Road School Revolutionary Day: All day. Fourth-grade students will assemble on Bedford Road School playground and march to field. At the field, they will engage in a number of activities similar to Revolutionary War soldiers: drilling, erecting tents, building barriers, drumming, games, and more. Students and teachers will be in costume, as will the Bedford Road School PTA volunteers who assist them. The rain-date is Friday, May 18.

Thursday, May 17

Foreign Language Honors Society Induction Ceremony: 7 p.m. Pleasantville High School foreign language (French, Italian, and Spanish) honors students be acknowledged. Pleasantville High School, auditorium
