PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Each week there are various meetings held in the Village of Pleasantville. These meetings are open to the public and are ways for residents to stay involved in the community while learning about recent happenings. Here is a list of what is scheduled to take place this week.
On Monday evening, the Pleasantville Board of Trustees will hold its regularly scheduled work session. The session will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held on the second floor of Village Hall. The agenda for this meeting includes administrative updates from the Village Department of Public Works, Architectural Review Board Candidate interviews and the 50/50 tree planting program.
Also on Monday evening, the Pleasantville Union Free School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting in the Pleasantville High School library at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be to formally announce a contract agreement between the district and the teachers union.
Wednesday, the Pleasantville Community Scholarship Fund Committee will meet in room 324 of Pleasantville High School at 7 p.m. No agenda for this meeting has been posted.
Thursday night will be the Pleasantville High School Orientation for eighth grade students and parents. The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the Pleasantville High School auditorium.
Also Thursday night, the Pleasantville Architectural Review Board will meet at Village Hall at 8 p.m. No agenda for this meeting has been posted yet.
